A media capacity-building project for Homes Not Prisons

This is a skill-building and social change project, developed in partnership with the Homes Not Prisons campaign and others. It will build capacity for criminalised people to create a powerful tool for advocacy and to shift the narratives that underlie their stigma. The project will provide podcast training, media skills training, resourcing and support for selected participants, who will produce a multi-episode podcast examining the relations between criminalisation, imprisonment and social inequalities. The series will be broadcast on 3CR and widely distributed. HV has awarded ten thousand dollars to this project.
