Integrated case-management support for criminalised women

This project aims to create pathways out of the justice system for socially and economically disadvantaged or vulnerable women who have been charged with criminal offences. It will provide them with targeted, specialist in-house case-management to address the causes of their offending and disadvantage. Those causes include family-violence trauma, victimisation, mental health issues, homelessness, alcohol and other drug addiction. The project will also supply material aid to women at risk upon release from prison. HV has awarded ten thousand dollars to this project.
