Public officials, like government ministers, should consider current and future generations’ health and well-being when deciding to approve or publicly finance fossil fuel projects that contribute to more harmful climate change.

Humanists Victoria made a submission (No. 93) about this important ethical issue. The Committee is required to report by 1 March 2024.
